Revelytix was established in 2006 as a commercial software company. Based on semantic standards managed by the W3C, our software tools enable the next generation of Enterprise Information Management. Our first product, knoodl.com, has been available on the world wide web for 4 years and is by far the most widely used ontology editing tool.

Revelytix enables a new paradigm in knowledge management, a Distributed Information Management System (DIMS) providing the ability to locate, access, and understand any enterprise data store.  DIMS allows companies to instantly combine and analyze any combination of data, regardless of location - functionality desired for nearly 20 years and now available from Revelytix.

Revelytix combines deep engineering expertise in semantic architecture, semantic data modeling, knowledge sharing, and data integration. Our principal management team has been working with data virtualization and distributed database management technologies for 14 years.

Our CEO, Michael Lang, previously founded MetaMatrix (1998), a pioneering company in the data federation space. The core engineering team from MetaMatrix rejoined Mr. Lang and developed the Revelytix semantic software suite, including an RDF mapping tool, a SPARQL query processor, a RIF-based rules engine, and knoodl.com, our community-based ontology editing and management tool.

Revelytix publishes SpyderSpinnerRex, and knoodl.com, the components of our Distributed Information Management System.
