Michael Lang, CEO, Chairman, Founder
Mr. Lang began his career in financial services, holding positions at Alex Brown and Sons, Merrill Lynch, Bridge Information Systems, and Thomson Reuters. His prior responsibilities have included option strategist, proprietary trading, sales management, product management, and software development lead. While at Bridge Information Systems, Michael led the introduction of Wall St.'s first information service delivered via a local area network. In 1990 Michael created his first company, NSI Inc., revolutionizing the use of computer-aided design tools for mid-size architectural firms.
In 1998, identifying the emerging need for cross-platform data management, Michael founded MetaMatrix. As a pioneer in data virtualization and Enterprise Information Integration (EII), MetaMatrix was a leading provider of infrastructure software, integrating and managing enterprise data. MetaMatrix was sold to Red Hat in 2007.
Recognizing how semantic-based technologies could enhance enterprise data management, Michael established Revelytix in 2005. After researching emerging semantic standards being introduced by the W3C, Michael made the decision to base all Revelytix software solutions on OWL, RDF, RIF, SPARQL and R2RML.
Greg Milbank, President, Founder
Mr. Milbank began his career in the information systems industry in 1985, working for several information services companies. In 1998, while at Thomson Reuters managing their Systems Integration group, Greg was recruited by Aether Systems, as VP, Sales. Post a successful public offering by Aether, Greg joined MetaMatrix as an investor and SVP, Sales & Business Development. Greg later co-founded Revelytix, leading a group of private investors funding the firm's initial capital investment. In 2007 Greg joined Revelytix as EVP, Sales and Business Development. He was appointed President in June of that year.
Mr. Milbank is a member of the Board of Regents at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He serves as a board member for the Center for Christian Jewish Understanding, also based in Fairfield, CT.

Paul Bradley, SVP Account Management
Mr. Bradley has had extensive experience as a vendor and a consumer of technology and information services. As a vendor, Paul held senior Sales and Product Management positions at Bridge Information Systems, FAME, and MetaMatrix. Prior to joining Revelytix, Paul was SVP, Product Manager at SmartStream, a provider of hosted reference data solutions.
As a technology consumer, Paul was SVP at Putnam Investments, managing their Security Master and Corporate Action groups. At Wellington Management, Paul led the Investment Data Services group, responsible for the Company/Security Master File, Corporate Actions, Pricing, and Data Integrity. While at Wellington, Paul created and led an initiative to automate the daily maintenance of the firm’s Security Master File, a centralized database supporting the data requirements for Portfolio Management, Risk, and Compliance.
Paul joined Revelytix during 2011 with responsibility for marketing, partnership agreements, customer contracts, our website, and managing our Proof of Concept engagements.

Robert Scanlon, SVP Engineering
Mr. Scanlon began his career at McDonnell Aircraft (now part of Boeing) as an aeronautical engineer. Later he held positions as a Java application architect and developer, creating engineering software for data processing and analysis. Bob was then recruited to manage Software development team at MetaMatrix, Inc., a position he held for seven years.
Subsequently, Mr. Scanlon was a Senior Director with BEA (now Oracle) on their SOA Governance team. Bob's team focused on the design and development of the core metadata processing engine and domain models used by BEA/Oracle's Enterprise Repository and client-side Repository API.
In 2007, Bob joined Revelytix as VP, Development Manager. Bob's engineering team is responsible for creating and maintaining our integrated enterprise data management software suite. Bob's staff is designing a new generation of products allowing organizations to expose any data source as RDF, federate it using OWL-based domain ontologies, and producing results for reporting, analysis, validation, and compliance.
Bob has a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Univ. of Illinois, and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington Univ. in St. Louis.
Jim Irwin, SVP Software Development
From 1994 to 2000 Mr. Irwin was a software architect for Neuristics Corporation, designing and managing the development of interactive neural network and artificial intelligence tools for data mining and predictive modeling. Jim created the computing infrastructure for Neuristics and its products, including distributed computing systems for processing large datasets, servers for robotic control of and remote access to storage media, and desktop GUI tools for data visualization, exploration, and model building.
From 2000 to 2004, Jim was a senior developer with PHH Arval where he designed and developed interactive intranet and extranet web applications using EAI message-based integration, federated databases, and J2EE service-based architectures.
Prior to joining Revelytix, Jim was partner and developer of Smart Spyders, a product and tool for robotically navigating the World Wide Web, interacting with and acquiring data from web sites. Jim's primary responsibility at Revelytix is the development and enhancement of knoodl.com, our web-based ontology building tool.
